The Use of a Switch

1. A switch is a component of an electric circuit.
2. We use a switch to turn on or turn off a bulb.
3. A switch is used to complete or to break a circuit.
4. When the switch is on, the circuit is complete.
5. Electricity flows through the circuit. The bulb light up.
6. When the switch is off, the circuit is incomplete.
7. Electricity cannot flow through the circuit. The bulb does not light up.
