- All metal objects conduct electricity.
- They are called conductors.
- For example, iron nail, paper clips and steel spoons are conductors.
- The bulb will light up when these objects are connected in a circuit.
- Wire are made of materials that conduct electricity.
- This allows the electricity from the battery to flow through them to light up the bulb.
- Non-metal objects do not conduct electricity
- They are called non-conductors.
- For example, plastic, rubber and wood are non-conductors.
- The bulb will not light up when these objects are connected in a circuit.
